Why Documentaries Matter
Documentaries have a unique ability to capture reality, challenge perceptions, and inspire action. They hold a mirror to society, allowing us to see the world through the eyes of filmmakers and engage with critical issues of our time. As Florian Graf, Head of the Berlin Senate Chancellery, remarked:
Together with international experts driving meaningful change, we will explore the pressing challenges of our time and examine the critical role of documentaries in a Post-Truth World. This year, we’ll also showcase the real-world impact of the first The Good Media Lab & Pitch and unveil bold, boundary-pushing projects for the second edition of the programme.
